Mushroom Home Collection – Amethyst Deceiver

I created this original painting from photographs I have taken in our local, beautiful forest.  The accurate name of the mushroom has been recorded beneath, however as this is a magical home, you will also see tiny windows and a tiny chimney adorning this magical illustration.  The artwork has been created using japanese and metallic watercolours and therefore has a lovely inviting shimmer!

The Amethyst Deceiver is a pretty and unusually coloured mushroom which surprisingly disguises itself well against the forest floor – a perfect fairy dwelling!

This original and unique illustration is mounted in its petite white frame which measures 13 x 18cm.

This artwork would look beautiful on its own (perfect for shelves!), or with its companions in the series.
