I am completely fascinated by the seahorse family and the ocean in general.  Seahorses hold an incredibly magestic and otherworldly quality that never fails to inspire my art.  I am also intrigued by all things celestial, including our beautiful moon and her ever changing phases, which led to an illustration that combines both.

This seahorse has been created using a palette of blues and purples to represent the night sky.  The stars and moon phases have been painted in varying shades of metallic gold. This celestial seahorse has been painted in metallic watercolours, creating a different depth to the colours depending on the light, and a beautiful, magical shimmer.

Perfect for a seahorse and moon lover or for those with magic in their hearts!

This original artwork has been painted on 300gsm cold pressed watercolour paper, and is sold as seen – mounted and framed.  The frame measures approximately 28cm x 37.8 cm. The internal mount aperture is 12cm x17cm.

All Artwork is posted in environmentally conscious packaging, which may occasionally result in the recycling of packaging – although the package inside will always be beautifully wrapped!
