A wander through the forest can breathe magic into your soul, and this illustration was very much created with that in mind. When you pause your meandering in the woods and take in the smallest details, you can observe magic all around you as the forest bristles with life.
The Jackalope is thought to be a clever creature and to be capable of bringing good luck. In some mythology they are said to give the roaming Deer their horns.
You may have noticed the triskele created from the tree’s branches at the top of the illustration. The triskele can represent many things, but I am drawn to the concept that it represents the interconnectedness of different worlds – present, spiritual and celstial in celtic culture.
This orignal artwork took over 20 hours to complete, with so many tiny details that you will see something new everytime you glance its way.
